Social Pivot Art Exhibit
June 15-28, Long Beach

DreamKreator Studio’s Rhonda Love is hosting a free exhibit in conjunction with MHALA through a Creative Corps program grant from the Arts Council for Long Beach.

The Social Pivot Exhibit explores the challenges caused by COVID-19, climate change, civic engagement, and social justice. It takes viewers on a creative journey, showcasing the human impact and environmental issues. Through an interactive presentation, attendees become the hero capable of making a difference.

Fundraising Events

Proceeds from MHALA fundraising events are earmarked toward the services and programs we provide our members.

Our annual gala, Under the Toque, brings together some of the area’s top chefs for an extravagant dining experience, coupled with live and silent auctions. This is one of Long Beach’s premier events, with proceeds benefitting the work we do for our members at MHALA. In 2023, Under the Toque honored Patti LaPlace for her commitment to mental health advocacy.

We also team up with area businesses to host meaningful events that help us boost our efforts toward helping our members access the resources and support they need to overcome significant challenges.

If you would like to become a fundraising partner, please contact MHALA's Development Department at development@mhala.org.
